Sometimes I love to re edit previous photo. To be honest, it's a try and error attempt. The results may be better or worst. Today I re edit the I Am Vader photos (you can see the original photo at the previous post) to be mono tone. The result was kinda good. BAMMMMMM..it gave me an idea, why don't i do it with the other subject too.

I used all my Star Wars Infinity Set tonight. So here's the result of it.

Just learn a new technique how to achieve better focus lighting for small object such as toys. It's not easy to play around with lighting for toys especially when you want to play around with shadows like portrait. But when you know the trick, everything will be easy and lots can be done with it. If, and only if I have a proper lens, I can make it better !

Its fun when you have the idea and working hard on it in order to make it happen. The idea I get is from a fashion magazine. The photographer plays with lighting, using colour gel I guess. Lucky I do have 2 colour gel in my room. The red and blue. At first I wanted to use with my Lego, but while searching for the right minifigure, I saw my Star Wars Infinity 2.0 set. There are Darth Vader, Yoda, Luke Skylwalker, Boba Fett, and Obi Wan Kenobi. You can take a look at the set at this post :- Star Wars Infinity Set

I was like, hey lets try using that set to play with the lighting, starting with Darth Vader. Using with some black boards, 2 source of lighting, 2 colour gels of red and blue, and after some adjustment of the light position and the black boards, here's the result. Its Straight Out Of Camera. Almost, haha. Ya, the lightsaber I used photoshop to make it "laser look alike". I need to sharpen my skill with the photoshop. The lightsaber seems a bit dull. Well, it's homework I guess. Lets try with a different set up with the next figure. Yoda ! See you soon !

Setelah lama mencari, akhirnya dapat juga membeli set Star Wars - Infinity dan perkara paling best sekali bila dapat membelinya pada harga yang jauh lebih murah ! Ada lagi 3 figura yang masih belum dimiliki bagi set ini iaitu Princess Leia, Han Solo dan Chewbacca. Sebenarnya set ini merupakan satu video game tetapi saya tidak tau cara penggunaannya. Berminat kepada figura ini sebab nak gunakan untuk Toy Photography, haha. Dapat tahu kewujudan figura ini pun melalui seorang Toy Photographer yang agak terkenal di peringkat antarabangsa, Zenith Ardor. Terus jatuh cinta dan mencarinya, dan terjumpa di kedai video game di Mid Valley, tetapi harga bagi satu sangat la mahal. RM120 - RM150. Tetapi rezeki hari ni, minggu Black Friday katanya, dapat pada harga RM50 for 2 unit ! Haha. Terus beli tanpa memikirkan perlu atau tidak.
